Place one order

POST/v1/px/ordersplace scope

Market Maker APIE6 decimal strings throughoutA | B

Submit one order.

Send X-PX-Key: pxk_…. This endpoint requires the place scope — an insufficient scope returns 403, not 401, and this line does not use Bearer sessions. To request a key and see the limits, visit the onboarding page.

Behaviour

outcome is A (YES) or B (NO); orderType is LIMIT or MARKET.
MARKET orders are IOC: the fillable quantity fills immediately, the remainder is cancelled.
Re-submitting the same clientOrderId returns the original order with idempotentReplay set to true.
Shares validation rules and rate-limit buckets with batch place; costs 1 token.
